I'm thrilled to share that after thorough discussions among our board members and careful consideration of our stakeholders' feedback, we've reached a consensus on the best path forward for our Mariner Friendly marina project. We've decided to pursue the acquisition and expansion of an existing marina, and we're excited to announce that we've identified a prime location on Galiano Island. While we can't disclose the marina's name due to an NDA agreement, we can share that the listing price is $3,000,000, and we're confident we can negotiate a deal between $2.5 million and $2.8 million.

 

This strategic decision aligns with our community's vision and feedback, and we're grateful for the input from our listeners and investors. Our goal is to reclaim Canada's great boating location for Canadian boaters and create a welcoming community that provides excellent services to all, regardless of gender, race, or social class.

 

By acquiring an existing marina, we're able to accelerate our project timeline by 8 years, allowing us to bring our vision to life sooner than anticipated. The chosen location offers stunning natural beauty, proximity to amenities, and easy accessibility, making it an ideal spot for our community.

 

With the $5,000,000 in donations, we'll be able to purchase the marina, expand its dock, and complete necessary maintenance and repairs to the store, fuel dock, and restaurant. We're committed to building a positive and inclusive community, and we look forward to sharing our progress with you.
